Creative Merchandise Solutions Limited (CMS) - 1 Year Limited Warranty
CMS warrants to the original purchaser that this power bank product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
1. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase consisting of an original invoice or sales slip indicating the date of purchase, store’s name, and model of the power bank. CMS reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage if this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of the product from a store.
2. CMS’s obligations are limited to the repair of the defect or replacement of the defective part or, at its discretion, replacement of the product itself with a new or refurbished product at CMS’s option.
3. If an item has been discontinued and the customer is within the 1-year warranty period, CMS will replace defective parts or products with parts or products of equal or lesser value, based on availability at the time of the claim.
4. The warranty is not applicable to cases other than defects in material and workmanship.
5. The warranty does not cover the following:
i. Period checks, maintenance, repair and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear. ii. Abuse or misuse, including but not solely limited to the failure to use the product for its normal purposes or in accordance with CMS’s instruction on usage and maintenance. iii. Defects resulting from usage of the product in conjunction with accessories that are not approved by CMS for use with its products. iv. Failure of the product arising from incorrect installation or use not consistent with the instructions and technical or safety standards prescribed in the product user manual. v. Accidents, lightning, water, fire, public disturbances, improper ventilation, voltage fluctuations or any cause beyond the control of CMS. vi. Unauthorized modification carried out to the product in order to comply with local or international technical standards in countries for which this CMS product was not originally designed.
vii. Damage of the battery caused by overcharging or failure to use in accordance with the specific instruction of core outlined in the product user manual. viii. The batteries are charged by charging sources other than those recommended by CMS. ix. Any part of the seal on the battery enclosure or cells is broken or shows evidence of tampering.
7. The warranty shall be deemed void if any form of repair works had been attempted or performed by an unauthorized service center. CMS is strictly not liable for reimbursements, claims and damages that may have resulted from the unauthorized repair or restoration of the product.
8. During the warranty period, the purchaser must call or email CMS to obtain a Warranty Claim Number (WCN). Make sure the WCN appears on the packing slip, proof of purchase, and on the outside of each shipping carton. Unauthorized returns or collect shipments will be refused.
If the service representative is unable to solve the problem, you will be provided with instructions as to how to go about having the unit repaired or replaced if it is under warranty. The product will need to be shipped prepaid to: Creative Merchandise Solutions Limited Suite 2001, 1118 Pudong South Road, Pudong, Shanghai, 200120 China or an Authorized Agent in your local country.
9. In the event that a product under warranty is repaired or replaced, the replacement will be covered under the original warranty of one (1) year from date of purchase. Repair, restoration or replacement under the terms of the warranty does not provide nor allow any right to the extension or the renewal of the warranty period regardless of any form of circumstances.
10. This warranty is not transferable. This warranty will be the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy and CMS’s exclusive liability, under this warranty. Repair or replacement is your exclusive remedy, Replacement may consist of replacing the product with the same product or with a different product of the same value. The above policies are for warranty service and the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with non-warranty conditions. CMS reserves the right to make final decisions regarding problem determination and the appropriate service option. CMS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for the breach of any warranty on this product. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state and country to country.
